SA researchers and institutions will be actively promoted to their EU counterparts. Thematic-focused workshops, awareness sessions and international aeronautics and air transport conferences hosted in Europe and in Africa will be utilised to showcase the project and European / African research projects.
Outputs to date
- AeroAfrica-EU launch presentation
The AeroAfrica-EU project was launched at an event held in Brussels, Belgium on the 22nd June 2009. This launch/brokerage occasion was well attended by mostly European participants, however the South African and UK partners were also present. Members of the EU Commission and Project Officer also participated. The presentation given by the National Aeronautics Centre of Excellence (NACoE) director, Rudolph Louw.
- SAMPE Europe International Conference presentation
AeroAfrica-EU, represented by Dr Rüdiger Bräuning from Fraunhofer, attended the SAMPE Europe International Conference SEICO, held in Paris, France between the 23rd and 25th of March 2009.
